CASUAL LACE

My weekend (can't believe it's already Tuesday, am I right?!) was filled with visits from friends. My good girlfriend came in to visit from Israel and we hosted her for Thursday night dinner. Then, the next day, our neighbors joined us for dinner, too. Lots of delicious food and wonderful people make for a great weekend!

But, on Monday morning, our fridge was fresh out of fruits and vegetables! So, I decided to go out and do some grocery shopping. Usually, my husband Noam does the big grocery trips, since he's the one who often takes the car for the day. But yesterday, I went down to Chinatown, since I always find the best fish and fruit at the downtown sidewalk markets. Beyond the food shopping opps, the truth is that it's pretty cool to hang out in Chinatown, because I always find such unique things to buy.

Although nothing pictured in my outfit here is from Chinatown (sorry, sidewalk sales!), I will give you the scoop on my look, and you can let me know what you think. My shades are Wildfox (I LOVE the fun shape), the black denim shorts are Rag and Bone (#winning), and the croptop is Liv LA (you already knew I was a sucker for croptops). My sandals (which, by the way, I get asked about every. single. time. I wear them out) are Matisse (similar here). The look is fun, cool (literally, since the City summer heat has been unbearable), and easy to throw together for a day out. Add in the Loeffler Randall bag, in the bold shade of red, and you're truly good-to-go!
