It's Friday! I've had an exhausting yet exciting work week (as you know, if you've been following the @girlplustwo & @diklagoren Instagrams!), but I still want to look presentable today.

I decided to pull a denim-on-denim look out of my fashion hat (minus the hat ;)) today, and break in my new sneaks while I'm at it. Plus, you can't go wrong fashion or comfort-wise with a look that includes lace ups and fringe. (BTW, did you know that I'm gifting this exact Rebecca Minkoff black fringe crossbody to one lucky lady who wins my Instagram giveaway next week?! Head to @girlplustwo for all the details and don't miss the chance to win.)

Let's focus on today's look, shall we? This light denim wash Lovers and Friends top is an all-year staple of mine. I love throwing on the super soft, chic button down along with any bottoms, light or dark. The wash goes well with any color palate, and looks put together no matter how much of a rush you're in. WIN.

I'm a sucker for denim shorts, especially these black Rag and Bone bottoms. Yes, they're short-shorts, and yes, I adore them! The material is beyond comfortable, the cut elongates my legs, and being that they're black dark wash denim - they match literally everything.

Remember how I mentioned I was breaking in my new Superga sneaks today? Lucky me, they're so comfy, they don't even require a real break-in period! They are currently on SALE! These crazy patterned flat lace-ups are just the kicks to have my on my feet during a run of Friday errands. I also love that the light-wash top meshes well with the blue laces and pattern of the shoes. It's the little things!

Once you add in two of my favorite fun accessories - the Wildfox Lolita shades and Rebecca Minkoff Fringe crossbody - the look really does feel put together! (Even though, it was pulled together in just ten minutes. Shh, it'll be our little secret!)

What do your Friday looks entail? I'd love to hear how you stay comfy and chic, and lead those busy and glamorous lives of yours!

Wishing you a great weekend
