STRIPE IT UP...

Spring has come to stay...or so we thought! Seriously, I can't be the only one who's questioning this back and forth of hot and cold, right? Some days are sunny and beautiful and others are dreary and rainy. I'm still thinking (hoping?) let's all cross our fingers that some continuous warmth is coming our way!

I'm now 29 weeks pregnant (!!) and am crazy excited to begin wearing spring and summer clothes for the bulk of my third trimester. As you already know, my style is less maternity and more every day pieces - some, not even maternity, rather just larger sizes! Luckily, this season's trends are wholly in my favor. I'm able to buy pieces that are flowy, boxy, or intentionally oversized - all comfortable for a pregnant mama yet also fully in pursuit of fashion and fun! Take the following look:

I've chosen to pair this chic blue and white striped off-the-shoulder dress from Zara with an orange bandana-inspired scarf from Mango and my trusty Adidas sneaks. Add in my favorite mirrored Illesteva shades and a new brown satchel bag from Urban Outfitters , and I'm good to go for a whole day out.

Believe it or not, this outfit was so easy to pull together and incredibly comfortable to wear and move around in all day. The dress's fabric breathes easy, the scarf isn't too overwhelming, and the neutral sneakers are great to walk in, up and down long City blocks. In addition, the oversized satchel makes carrying all of my stuff around super easy (a pregnant mama on-the-go has lots to bring along! especially water!) and my tried-and-true Illesteva shades seamlessly round out the ensemble from head-to-toe.

I can't wait to rock this look (or variations thereof) throughout my third trimester. The best part is that I can easily wear every piece post-partum, too! That's a pretty great bargain, isn't it?! You all know how much I love to utilize great pieces over and over again - give them their proper use. Now, if we can just get some sunny weather here in NY...!
